✨ **NOTE: This mod is in very early testing stages. The number of NPCs is small, and there may be a lot of mold-breaking problems. See the Known Issues section below. ** ✨

🌲 Module introduction

**Stardew Valley** is an expansion module based on the world of "Twin Peaks" that aims to bring the warm Americana of "Twin Peaks" (and a touch of mysterious weirdness) to Stardew Valley.

🗺️ Current content

  • **13 new maps** (4 outdoor, 9 indoor)
  • **2 new stores**, and a recycling program started at the Sheriff’s Station
  • **4 new NPCs** (no complete event yet)
  • **Rich collection and fishing content**, and a new ore generation area

---

🔧 Development progress

Under development

  • Complete recycling system
  • Get NPCs out of hiding
  • additional entrance

Future plans

  • New areas (at least 3 new maps planned)
  • Event system
  • More custom resources
  • More NPCs
  • Complete internationalization support

---

🎮 Compatibility

This mod is built and tested on a save with multiple expansion mods installed, and should be fully compatible with all major expansion mods, including:

  • SVE (Stardew Valley Expansion)
  • RSV (Ridgeside Village)
  • East Scarp
  • Recolor mod (will recolor vanilla assets, but currently will not recolor custom buildings)

🗺️ Map Patch Notes

This mod also adds a map patch to the backwoods area north of the farm. If conflicts with other mods are found, this patch can be turned off by setting "HikingTrail" to false through GMCM or manually editing the config.json file. **Save files may need to be reloaded when switching hiking trails. **

---

📦 Essential module

  • Content Patcher
  • Farm Type Manager
  • Lumisteria Tilesheets - indoor
  • Lumisteria Tilesheets - outdoor
  • DaisyNiko Tilesheets
  • Luan Tilesheets
  • Alvadea's Tilesheets

Recommended modules

  • GMCM
  • Bus Locations (optional, but required when traveling to Stardew Peak via bus)

🎨 Community creation

**Q:** Can I make new portraits or sprites for NPCs in Stardew Peaks?

**Answer:** Of course! You don't need my permission to make new icons, sprites, or building replacements for Stardew Peaks. All I ask is that my specific resource is not shared and linked back to this page. Thanks!

---

🐛 Known issues

  • **NPC Shyness Issue**: NPCs may not appear when they are supposed to. Currently they should be at the starting point all day. If the scheduling issues cannot be resolved before the next update, I will choose a more prominent location to place them
  • **Social Menu Issue**: NPCs do not show up in the social menu until they are encountered
  • **Entrance Conflict**: The entrance to the hiking trail is in the same area as the entrance to Coal Point Farm. Turning off hiking trails in the config should fix this issue

💝 Acknowledgments

Special thanks to other expansion modders, especially those who post tutorials and other modding resources online to help first-time modders like me.

This mod was carefully crafted by me over the past year or so while a close family member was battling terminal cancer. I want it to be as perfect as possible, but please be gentle and patient as I fix bugs and add more content. Thanks!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
