- Each essence requires 5 flowers of the same quality
- Production time is 1 day
- Can be given as a universal neutral gift
- Like jams and pickles, any flower meets shipping collection requirements

The original game contains 9 flower essences:

Compatibility Notes
Want to make flowers added by other mods compatible? Very simple!
Just in the corresponding module's Objects.json or Content.json file:
- Add the "extract_flower_item" tag to the "ContextTags" section of the flower
- After enabling this module, these flowers can be used to make essence in the oil press.

Essence color reference
To avoid duplication, here are the colors of each essence:
- Blue Jazz: Blue
- Narcissus: yellow-green
- Saffron: poppy seed color
- Fairy rose: pink
- Holly: red
- Poppy flower: orange
- Summer sparkle: yellow
- Sweet peas: dark pink
- Tulips: salmon color

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
