Installation method:
First install the mod body and its prerequisites (when updating the sve mod body, please delete the old version and then install it. Do not overwrite it directly to prevent the old and new versions from being updated, and the redundant files are not deleted)
Use the decompression software to open the Chinese version, check the folders in the Chinese version compressed package, and drag it into the same folder as the main body mod, so that the zh.json file in the i18n folder in the Chinese version can be placed in the corresponding i18n folder of the main body mod. Refer to the picture.
Mac computer players should hold down the option key and drag the folder to replace. Then when encountering the same file, you will be prompted whether to replace it and click Merge.
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
