Spouse and roommate buffs
💖 Celebrate your wedding and share your knowledge and skills with friends! This mod will give you attribute buffs with personalized names and descriptions, depending on your spouse or roommate. These buffs stack with food and drink buffs.
🎯 Configuration options
**Buff Strength**: Select the buff strength of your spouse/roommate. Options include: "Weak", "Medium", and "Strong", with "Medium" being roughly equivalent to the strength of the food's buff.
**Buff Skill Selection**: Choose which skill your spouse will buff when you marry another player or marry a non-standard/unsupported mod character. Select "Off" if you don't want your spouse to have the buff. Options include: "Farming Level", "Fishing Level", "Gathering", "Foraging Level", "Attack", "Defense" and "Off".
**Krobus Buffs**: Choose the buffs that Krobus will provide you. "Honesty Oil" prevents monsters from appearing, while "Monster Musk" attracts additional monsters.
🔗 Compatibility
This mod is compatible with the following mods:
- **Free Love**: If you have multiple spouses, each spouse provides a separate buff. It is recommended to set "Buff Strength" to "Weak" if you plan to marry multiple people to avoid becoming too powerful.
- **Ridgeside Village**: If RSV is installed, all RSV spouses will also receive the buff.
- **Platonic Partners and Friendships**: Platonic partners and roommates also receive the buff if PPAF is installed.
- **Diverse Stardew Valley**: If DSV is installed, the buff icon will correspond to the DSV version used. Screenshots were taken with DSV installed.
- **Other mods that add new NPCs**: If the GenericSpouseRoommateBuff is not turned off, you will get a generic buff when you marry or live with an NPC added by the mod (unlike RSV).

📥 Installation instructions
- Download the original mod: Spouse and Roommate Buffs and extract it into the game’s Mods folder
- Download the translation file, unzip it (do not unzip it to the Mods folder) and copy the "ru" file to the "i18n" folder of the original module
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
