Special Order Notifications
🌟 **Make special order progress clear at a glance! ** This module extends the daily task notification system introduced in version 1.6 to special orders, allowing you to keep track of task progress at any time.
🎯 Supported special order targets
This mod provides progress notifications for the following types of special order goals:
- **Collect** - Get specific items
- **Fishing** - Obtain items by fishing
- **Gift Giving** - Qi's Kindness Mission
- **Defeat Monsters** - Destroy designated monsters
- **Reach Mine** - Mine Shaft or Skull Cave
- **Junimo Kart Score** - Endless Mode Score
💡 **Mod Compatibility**: As long as the special orders added by other mods use the above supported target types, this mod will work properly!
🔧 Overlapping donation box fix
This module reimplements the "DropBox" tile action to better handle the situation where multiple donation boxes exist on the same tile:
- If the tile only has a special order donation box, it will display normally
- If a tile matches multiple active special orders, it will be switched cyclically during interaction.
- If the special order donation box is missing, it will be displayed in every donation box action throughout the map (using the same loop mechanism)
✨ **Improved features**:
- Show special order title above donation box menu
- Draw an indicator for each active donation box (original only showed one per location)
📝 **Configuration Options**: If you don’t want this change, you can disable it in config.json:
```json
{
"EnableOverlappingDropBoxFix": true // Set to false to disable
}
```
⚠️ Known issues
- For collection tasks involving multiple items, only the icon of the last collected item will be displayed.
- Complex collection targets (such as Pierre's Premium Produce) use standard item icons
- Monsters do not have dedicated icons and use hard-coded texture rectangles. Some monsters may display abnormally.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
