🎁 Are the random rewards still available?
Yes! Letters that contained rewards in the original version still retain the reward mechanism in this mod.
✉️ Are the contents of the letters exactly the same?
Most of the same! I tweaked the "Water Park" letter slightly to make it a follow-up to atravita's "AquaThrills" letter. This might even trigger a follow-up conversation with Jodi!
💬 Wait, conversation? This is new!
That's right! Certain letters you receive will now trigger conversations among villagers. Not all letters trigger a conversation, and it's not always obvious who will comment. This is a feature of the atravita mod and I've included it in this extension as well.
👻 Is the ominous email message still there?
Ominous Mail is still included and is still optional. Three of the four messages are now designed to appear scattered over time.
🎨 What about custom email background?
These are also included in this mod. Thanks to MakoKZ for the original image.
⚙️ Configuration instructions
This mod contains the "expected play time" configuration value like atravita's mod. Since I'm new to Stardew Valley modding and didn't know how to extract a value from another mod's config, I re-added the value in this mod file. Please use the same value for both mods.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
