Soft Slow Seasons

🌙✨

Module introduction

Hello everyone! This is my first officially released recolor mod, I usually just do it myself for fun. I used DustBeauty's DIY recolor tool and adapted the tiles to version 1.6.

🌸 Main functions

  • **Season Gradient Effect**: No more sudden changes when changing seasons
  • **NATURAL TRANSITION**: Snow begins to appear on the grass in late fall, and gradually turns greener in spring as summer approaches
  • **New tree vegetation**: Replaces almost every element in the game to achieve slow seasonal changes
  • **Multiple versions available**: original version, warm color version, bright version and other styles

🎨 Version features

**Original**

Featuring pastel colors and non-blue snow, it is recommended to use the included vegetation resources

**Warm color version**

By popular request, this is a warmer version of the original mod to better match other vegetation mods

**Bright version**

Same as the pastel version but with more vibrant colors!

🔧 Compatibility

**Verified Compatible**

  • Walk to Desert Redux *(see optional files for patches)*
  • Xiddav Tilesheets *(see optional files for patches)*
  • DaisyNiko Tilesheets *(see optional files for patches)*

**Only compatible with vegetation mods** *(need to disable my vegetation)*

  • Stardew Valley Expanded
  • Ridgeside Village
  • Passerby Cemetery
  • A New Dream
  • East Scarp

**Not Compatible**

  • Mod for recoloring terrain
  • Mod containing unique terrain tiles

⚠️ Notes

  • This mod contains 12 seasons instead of 4, please keep this in mind
  • It is recommended to use GMCM to easily switch configurations
  • The desert area does not exactly match the old patch, a patch is being made
  • The color of the Ginger Island excavation site is slightly off, it will be fixed soon

🌟 Recommended combination

The following mods are highly recommended for a better immersive experience:

  • Winter Rain
  • Snow Fall 28th
  • For new saves, try Random Start Day

*Warm reminder: This module has a very low priority and will not cover any other modules except the original version. *

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
