Slime Alchemist

🧪 Module Features

**Slime Alchemist** is a mod focused on creating small potion sets, designed to make daily tasks smoother without being overly simplistic. Make your farm work a little easier by making potions, long-lasting infusions, and even a few different gels!

🏗️ Production system

**Alchemy Station** is unlocked at combat level 2 and requires 2 iron ingots, 10 wood, 10 refined quartz and 1 fire quartz to craft. Each potion/gel requires 10 slimes and an item to craft, and each crafting process takes 4 hours to complete.

**Infusion** is crafted by placing a potion and an additional 10 slimes into the Alchemy Station again. All combinations are unlocked from the start, but a crazy alchemist will keep an eye on your progress and send you letters reminding you of what you can craft with.

⚗️ Effect description

**Potions** are primarily focused on enhancing skills or increasing passive health/energy regeneration. By default, potions last for 8 hours of gameplay and infusions last for 12 hours - that's the only difference between the two.

**Gel** is a one-time consumable item that can instantly restore health or energy.

Potions and infusions are considered drinks and therefore used in drink slots. This means that **they do stack with food buffs** but do not stack with or override other beverage buffs (like green tea, ginger ale, etc.).

🍎 Gel formula

  • **Apple Gel**: Restores 50 health points. Requires 2 apples and produces 2 apple gels
  • **Peach Gel**: Restores 125 energy points. Requires 2 peaches, yields 2 peach gel

🔮Potion recipe

  • **Fertile Field Potion**: +4 Agriculture, +0.5 Energy Regeneration/sec. Requires 1 parsnip or 1 corn
  • **Earth Reward Potion**: +5 Mining, +50 Max Energy. Requires 1 bomb
  • **Tree Destruction Potion**: +5 Gathering, +50 Max Energy. Need 1 outdoor snack
  • **Master Fishing Potion**: +3 Fishing. Requires 1 catfish or 1 sturgeon
  • **Dancing Sword Potion**: +4 Combat, +3 Attack, +3 Defense. Requires 1 insect meat
  • **Potion of Swift Walk**: +2 Speed. Requires 1 green tea
  • **Golden Luck Potion**: +2 luck. Requires 1 ginger ale
  • **Steel Defense Potion**: +5 defense, +5 immunity, +2 health regeneration/second. Requires 1 crab
  • **Strength Potion**: +100 max energy, +1.5 energy regeneration/second. Requires 1 puffer gel
  • **Quick Recovery Potion**: +3 health regeneration/second, +1.5 energy regeneration/second. Requires 3 radioactive ores

💡 Practical Tips

Even at level 10, skills like mining and gathering still gain energy cost reductions as they level up. This means that, for example, with Gathering level 10 and the Earth's Reward potion, you will have a total of 15 points in the Gathering skill, which will reduce the energy cost per ax swing to 0.5 points instead of the full 1 point. This makes activities such as tree felling farms more efficient in their use of energy.

Enjoy this fun alchemical experience! ✨

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
