Sits' Cave Farm
✨ **Second version of my first Stardew Valley map project! ** ✨
The idea of making an underground farm has been brewing for a while now. While it was "okay" on my first try (check out the other mods in my profile for details), I was a little disappointed with the end result, which had some issues and a less-than-ideal layout.
I wanted to create something unique, have my own play style, and breathe new life into my gaming experience.
That's why this map was born!

🌟 Features
🌱 **Greenhouse-like environment**
- Cave Farm is hot and humid, supporting the growth of a variety of crops! (Functionally similar to a greenhouse)
🌑 **Unique lighting system**
- Cave Farm is pretty dark, not unbearably dark, but eventually you'll want to make a light source to see better
🏞️ **Balanced Game Design**
- To balance the huge advantages of early greenhouses, there is limited arable land and you are severely restricted in how much you can grow crops
🌳 **Flexible tree growth**
-Trees can grow anywhere in the cave, you will also start with a mushroom tree
🛗 **Convenient transportation system**
- An elevator takes you to the surface, where there is a small forest crossing
💡 **Configuration Options**
- If you don't use the map, you can turn off the elevator function in the configuration
---
🔮Planned features
☀️ **Inverted Farm Cave**
- A custom "upside-down" farm cave that provides access to sunlight and more farmable land, but at the cost of normal seasonal growth
---
**Note: Please delete the configuration file when updating to the latest version! **
**Requires: Content Patcher and Config Menu mods! **
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
