Simplify item quality
🌟 **Make inventory management in Stardew Valley easier! **
This mod is designed to optimize the amount of items of various qualities you can collect in the game, while trying not to drastically alter the game balance.
✨ Main functions
- **Handmade products and delicatessen** are not affected by this mod and **always retain their original quality**
- **Silver Star quality** items are **always downgraded** to normal quality
- **Gold Star Quality** items are **retained by default**, but which item categories should or should not be downgraded can be set via the mod configuration menu, as well as setting a minimum price threshold.
- **Iridium quality** items** are downgraded to normal quality**, but **the quantity is doubled**
🎯 Design Concept
By simplifying the item quality system, you now only have to deal with Normal and Gold quality items without losing the profits you get from Iridium quality items!
⚙️ Custom options
- The ability to double the number of Iridium quality items can be disabled via the mod configuration menu
- When option **unchecked**, the category and price filters will still determine whether an item remains Iridium quality or downgraded to a **single** normal item

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
