Silent Load Screen
🎵 **Make loading screens quiet and say goodbye to sudden music scares! **
📋 Prerequisites
- 🎯 Content Patcher
---
✨ Features
🔇 **Silent loading screen**
- Use Content Patcher to replace loading screen music to be completely silent
- This mod is your savior when you have been startled one too many times by music at maximum volume!
🎵 **Jukebox Compatible**
- If another mod adds this music to the playlist, the jukebox will show a "Mute" option
- It is recommended to add this song to the blacklist through Better Jukebox's Mod Config Menu
---
🎯 Problems solved
🎮 **Volume setting is invalid**
- Title menu does not respect any volume settings, which are tied to archive files
- Loading screen music **sometimes plays even when global music switch is off**
🔧 **Technical limitations**
- There is no way to target this music directly using Content Patcher because the menu is hardcoded in multiple places
- This mod changes the songs and their names in the jukebox (if added by other mods)
---
💡 Usage suggestions

🎧 Use with other audio modules to create a perfect game audio experience
The author originally wanted to keep the original music in case some mods used it, but due to technical limitations chose a completely silent solution
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
