🎵 **Make the ambient sound effects of Stardew Valley more prominent! **
I love the music in Stardew Valley, but I also love the ambient sounds, especially during long gaming sessions. If you turn the music volume slider to zero in the options menu, you may notice that the game is still playing music at zero volume, and you can't hear the ambient sound effects until the music ends. This mod replaces the configured music with a 100 millisecond silent .wav file, allowing the game to play ambient sounds almost instantly.

🎮 Installation Guide
- Install the latest version of SMAPI
- Install the latest version of Content Patcher
- Install the latest version of Generic Mod Config Menu (optional, but makes configuration easier)
- Install the latest version of Sound Tweaker
- Extract the module folder to the `Stardew Valley/Mods` directory
- Run the game using SMAPI
⚙️ Configuration options
You can edit settings on the title screen (via the gear button) or in-game (at the bottom of the game options menu).
Changes will take effect after entering the new area and the music stops playing.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
