I couldn't find a portrait that fit the style of Susan's sprites and was true to the overall look of the character, so I decided to make my own! This is my first attempt at making mod resources, and I hope it can bring you a better gaming experience.

📁 Installation instructions
**Important Reminder**: Please do not extract the files directly to the mod folder, it will not work properly!
**Correct installation steps**:
- Find the resource folder of the Poltergeister module:
`C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Stardew Valley\Mods\[CP] Seasonal Cute Characters SVE\assets`
- Enter the "Portraits" folder and find the "Susan" subfolder
- Move the 8 images from my "portraits" folder here
- Return to the "assets" folder and enter the "Characters" folder
- Find the "Susan" folder and move the "Susan_SpiritsEve" picture in my "character" folder here
🎭 Creative Concept
As my first mod, I paid special attention to keeping Susan's character authentic. When making my Soul Night costume, I chose Calliope from Hercules as my inspiration, hoping to add some fun to this special holiday!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
