I made minor adjustments to a few portraits that I just couldn't stand, and it was like having a minor plastic surgery! 😊 No drastic changes were made, just to make the appearance of these characters more pleasing to the eye.
🎭 Current adjustment content
- Only the portraits of some marriageable characters have been slightly adjusted
- Maintains the original style without ruining the gaming experience
- The adjustment range is moderate and will not make the character unrecognizable.
🔄 Follow-up plan
Since I only spent a few hours making this mod last night, there are still a few things that haven't been tweaked yet:
- Portraits of other characters have not been processed yet
- Swimwear outfits have not been adjusted yet
- Plans to fine-tune several characters in SVE (Stardew Valley Expansion) in the future

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
