Rose's Cruelty Free Meat Compatible Patch with Animal Husbandry

🎯 Function Overview

This small Content Patcher mod is specifically designed to adjust the Rose's Cruelty Free Meats mod's crop drops and cooking recipes to be compatible with meat item IDs using the Animal Husbandry mod.

🥩 Support meat type

  • chicken
  • beef
  • pork
  • rabbit meat
  • duck meat
  • mutton
  • Ostrich meat

⚠️ Important reminder

Please pay attention! Any currently growing meat plants will still drop meat using the Rose's Cruelty Free Meats item ID. In order for them to start dropping meat using the Animal Husbandry item ID, you need to replant those crops!

🔧 Instructions for use

This compatibility patch will automatically handle item ID conflicts between the two mods, allowing you to enjoy the functionality of both mods at the same time without recipe errors or missing items.

🎮 Game experience

With this patch, you can perfectly integrate the rich animal breeding system of the Animal Husbandry module while maintaining a vegetarian game style, and get a smoother and more consistent game experience!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
