ricefieldfield 🌾
Features ✨
Have you ever felt like your rice crop brings more trouble than good?
Tired of searching for suitable water sources for growing rice, or building ponds/wells specifically for rice and taro?
You can now commission a new 'building' from Robin to create a dedicated rice paddy field on your farm! No need to add a water source, it is a water source itself!
Planting experience 🌱
Grow your rice crops in neat and organized plots like other fields. If you don't like the bare look (or don't want to build your own), you can also order a version with a bezel skin from Robin!
Version update 📝
**New features in version 1.2.0:**
- Removed the AT pack and made the bordered rice field a selectable skin in Robin's menu!
- It is now configurable to choose between a blank center plot or a decorative puddle!
- Set "PassableCenterTile" to "true" to get a blank and passable center tile
- Set to "false" to get a cute little decorative puddle
- Fixed an issue with puddles not showing up in seasonal versions
- Added "auto" option to color configuration to automatically set colors depending on whether you are using vanilla or recolor mod
Special thanks 🙏
Special thanks to mushymato for setting up the base patch and solving various issues!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
