Rework dwarf visual effects

🎭 **New Dwarf Visual Experience** - Gives the dwarf characters in Stardew Valley a new look!

✨ Main functions

  • **New Elf Maps**: All Dwarf Elf Maps have been carefully reworked
  • **Various Portraits**: Replace a single old portrait with six shiny new ones (one of which is particularly shiny!)
  • **Rich Expression System**: Added new facial expressions to make dwarf characters more vivid

🎨 Creative background

This is my first mod! I'm working on a larger modding project where I plan to make a dwarf character a seventh marriageable partner. Before completing the full mod, I decided to upload these portraits and sprites for download for those who prefer to use them individually.

🔧 Technical details

This module is developed based on HeadInTheCloud's dwarf portrait replacement module. Special thanks to them for their basic work! They are also currently developing Dwarf and Krobus related mods.

💡 **Mod Author Tip**: If you want to create your own dwarf portrait based on this, feel free to use the emotion code! Please note that since the dwarf originally only has a single portrait, there are fewer events in the game that trigger emotions, and you may need to add more emotion triggers yourself.

🌟 Enjoy interacting with more animated dwarves!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
