I've long wanted a game that would allow you to retain the quality of the product, but not be too overpowering and require a certain amount of effort to get each improvement, which is why I made this mod.

This mod adds an upgrade system to the original machine, including:

- 🫙 Pickle Jar
- 🌞 Dehydrator
- 🐟 Fish smoker
⚙️ Upgrade system
Each machine has four upgrades (except the fish smoker, which only has two):
Iron upgrade
- Product quality is one level lower than the inserted item
- Iridium quality fruits → Gold quality products
- Processing time is not affected
Gold Upgrade
- Copy the quality of inserted items
- Small chance of getting additional products
- Processing time ×1.2
Iridium upgrade
- Probability to improve product quality by 1 level
- 50% chance to get additional products
- Processing time ×1.35
Radioactive Upgrade
- Always double product
- Low probability of getting additional products
- Higher probability of improving quality
- Iridium quality items have an extra chance of getting more products
- Processing time ×1.5
🍯 Special adjustments
To keep the game balanced, some machines have special adjustments:
- The price of mead in brewing barrels will increase based on flavored honey
- Adjusted production times to avoid imbalance

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
