Provence Farm Architecture by #PLY
🎨 **Building texture rework – now supports CP version**
✨ Design features
- 🏡 All levels of chicken coops and barns use the same textures
- 🔗 Some buildings connect naturally when placed side by side – see preview image
- 🏛️ Some obelisks share textures, allowing flexible mixing and matching
- ⚙️ CP version can change style through GMCM settings (PC only)
- 🌿 This mod was designed with DaisyNiko’s Earthy Recolor in mind, but it also looks great on its own.
📦 CP version details
Overview
I created a Content Patcher version for players who like CP-based mods. While I've tried my best to test, if you find any issues please let me know.
Working principle (compared with AT version)
Unlike the AT version which uses a brush tool, the CP version automatically applies textures based on configuration settings - a method many players are already familiar with.
I've found that Content Patcher itself cannot apply different textures to multiple copies of the same building, which usually requires help from other mods.
Since this flexibility is important to my design - especially to remain mobile-friendly - I took a different approach:
- Use cabin type buildings (planks/logs/stones/rustic cabins) as alternative texture carriers
- These huts are for decoration purposes, not gameplay
- You can place them next to other buildings to make it look like a connected structure
- You can change their appearance using Robin's building menu
- I adjusted the textures to match the size and footprint of each cabin
- Removed chimney smoke from these decorative cabins to make them blend more naturally with the other buildings

📝 Warm reminder
Hope you enjoy using this mod! If you encounter any problems or have feedback, please feel free to let me know.
Reminder: If you use other mods that also change the appearance of buildings, this mod may not display correctly. During testing, I had to disable a setting in another texturing mod to get it to work.
Special thanks to FlashShifter for creating the Stardew Valley expansion. This mod contains additional support for SVE buildings.
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
