🎮 **Mod Introduction**

Let's be honest, Stardew Valley doesn't handle pregnancy, birth, and adoption well. This mod adds events for when you find out you (or your spouse) are pregnant or decide to adopt, as well as for when you (or your spouse) give birth to a child or an adoption agency delivers a child.

📋 Module Overview

The **Pregnancy Event** (or First Adoption Event) will trigger the day after you and your spouse choose to have a child. (You need to be on your own farm to see the pregnancy event - I haven't programmed any events for Ginger Island or any mod locations yet)

The **fertility event** (or second adoption event) will trigger 13 days after the pregnancy event. (You will need to choose a name for your child before viewing a birth or adoption event)

✨ Module contains content

• **Single men’s reaction event**: The reactions of single men in Queyu Town to the news of your pregnancy
• **Single Women’s Reaction Incident**: The reactions of single women in Queyu Town when they learned that they were pregnant
• **Adoption Document Filling Event**: An event in which you and your spouse filled out adoption documents
• **Child Delivery Event**: The heartwarming moment when the adoption agency delivers the child to your home

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTES

**Compatibility Reminder**:

• Currently **not compatible** with kdau's pregnant characters or PolyamorySweet
• I'm working on another version to fix this!

**Custom role support**:

• Added **Universal pregnancy and birth events** for all custom characters
• Includes marriage candidates from Stardew Valley Expanded Edition, Eastscape, Ridge Village and other modules

**Archiving Notes**:

• If you add this mod to a save that already has a pregnant state, strange things may happen.
• Please download and use at your own risk

**Latest improvements**:

• Removed pregnancy dialog (will be added back in a future update)
• Added universal events for farmers' first and second pregnancy birth events
• Now you can see these events even if you are married to a custom NPC!

**Future Plans**:

• Add similar universal events for spouse's pregnancy and birth events (including male pregnancy)
• Preserve unique pregnancy and birth events for all vanilla marriage candidates
• Convert all event dialogs to i18n format
