❓ FAQ
🤔 There are too many items, how to choose?
I know there are a lot of items here and all the furniture packs are expected to be large as I want everything to come in multiple color options.
If you want to remove certain colors:
- You can go into the content.json file and delete items you don't want to appear in the catalog
- I've tried to name them clearly to make the process easier
- For alternative textures, just delete the texture png files you don't want
📚 Will there be a separate directory?
There are currently no plans to make separate catalogs for different rooms/areas of the MCM catalog. But if I were making a completely different style of mod, I would make a separate directory for that style.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
