🎮 Player Guide
This mod adds the Pelican Valley apartment building location and mountain access, but will not place any NPCs in the apartment rooms unless there is an NPC mod using that apartment complex.
🛠️ Guidelines for Mod Authors
To place your NPC, simply locate the desired floor location and set the coordinates within the room. This Google Sheet allows you to mark rooms in use to limit overlap with other custom NPC mods, and provides different floor map targets, as well as default room coordinates for bed and door locations.
💡 **Suggestion**: It is possible to overwrite existing rooms with your own room design, but it is recommended to only target one room area to prevent conflicts with other NPC mods that may use the apartment complex.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
