Vanilla Vegetation Tweaks
🌳 **Original style vegetation beautification module**
I really like the pixel style of ConcernedApe and find it very charming, but there are always some details that bother me. I've been working on these tweaks for a long time - and only now have I decided to put them together into a modpack and release them!

🌲 Tree adjustment
**Seasonal Color Optimization:**
- 🍁 Autumn maples take on warmer, less magenta red tones
- 🎄 In autumn, pine trees adopt a warmer green color and the trunks turn a richer, darker brown
- 🌰 The autumn mahogany trees have fuller colors and darker shadows, closer to the original trees before version 1.5
- 🌸 The spring cherry blossom trees no longer use electric neon magenta, but are replaced by a softer, more spring-like pink
- 🍊 Fine-tuning various other fruit trees, increasing/decreasing contrast for a more unified overall look
- 🍑 Almond tree shadows are clearer and more natural, consistent with other trees
**Moss variant optimization:**
- 🟢 Oak moss in spring, summer and autumn no longer looks like mysterious dripping green slime
- 🌿 Several different mosses now come in a more natural, warmer green color that blends better with tree bark
**WINTER TREE INTEGRATION:**
- ❄️ Integrated JefGrizli’s Refitted Winter Tree Sprites mod
- 🍎 Fruit trees switch to icy tones in winter, losing leaves and accumulating snow - just like their non-fruit tree relatives
- 🌱 Fruit trees in greenhouses maintain warm weather colors all year round
- 🌺 Almond and peach trees bloom in two different shades of pink in spring

🌿 Grassland optimization
**Hand-edited grass sprite:**
- ✂️ Grass height reduced by about 50% across all grass variants and seasons - just enough so you can see where the chicks are!
- 🎨 Preserves original grass shape; reduces length from the middle without destroying shadows or changing the appearance of individual leaves
- 🌼 Keep the same number of flowers/decorative elements as the original

- 🔄 Only compatible with original color scheme
- 🚫 Not compatible with any overhaul/repaint/recolor mods (and will not be remade for compatibility)
- 📦 Will not be applied to new sprites added by other mods
- ⚔️ Not compatible with other mods (trees, fruit trees and grass mods) editing the same files

- Extract the .zip file to the Mods folder in the Stardew Valley installation directory

- Delete the **[CP] Vanilla Vegetation Tweaks** folder from the *Stardew Valley\Mods* folder

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
