Vanilla Plus Skin Tones
🎨 **Make your character’s skin color more colorful! **
✨ Module Features
- **Wide range of skin tones**: natural skin tones from very light to very dark
- **Keep original features**: Unnatural skin tones in the original game will not be removed
- **Perfect Gradient Effect**: See a smooth gradient from light to dark when you hold down the skin tone button in game
🌈 Design Concept
Do you like having a wide range of skin tones to choose from? But want to have some different colors sometimes? Then this mod is made for you!
I personally don't like replacement mods that completely remove unnatural skin tones, so I made this mod. It encompasses natural skin tones from very light to very dark, but also retains some interesting unnatural colors.
🎮 Compatibility Notes
This mod is compatible with almost all other mods, unless the other mod also replaces the peasant skin texture.
📝 Version information
- Specifically designed for Stardew Valley version 1.6
- If you want to use it in a lower version, you can try to modify the manifest file.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
