Vanilla Forage Crops and Bushes
🌿 **Let the collected items in Stardew Valley be grown on the farm! **
✨ New crops and shrubs
This mod adds more harvestable crops to the Plantable Gathering and Crop Shrubs mod that were missing from the original game:
**🌱 Brand new crops:**
- Cave carrots, daffodils, dandelions
- Bracken, leek, snow yam
- Wild horseradish, winter root
**🌊 Aquatic crops:**
- Seagrass (requires Machine Terrain Framework)
**🍄 Mushroom Grower:**
- Magma Cap, Purple Mushroom, Red Mushroom (Custom Bush required)
**🌿 Shrub:**
- Crystal Fruit, Spiced Berry (requires Custom Bush)
**🌳 Fruit trees:**
- Wild plum tree
**⚗️Large craftable machines:**
- Can grow green algae and white algae
🎨 Optional crop texture
The mod folder contains alternative textures that provide different colors and variations for the flower crops. Requires Alternative Textures module support.
🔄 Category change
**Flower category adjustment:**
- Daffodils and dandelions have been changed from the collection category to the flower category
- Can affect honey flavor, gift preferences, and be boosted by farming occupations
- This feature is enabled by default
**⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: **
Raccoons may ask for pickled dandelions in the spring, this is hardcoded and cannot be changed. If this happens, disable this feature in the configuration to complete the task.
**Vegetable category adjustment (disabled by default):**
- Leeks, snow yams, wild onions and wild horseradish can be changed from the gathering category to the vegetable category
- Change gift preferences and receive bonuses from farming professions
⚙️ Highly configurable
Like all my mods, this one offers a wealth of configuration options:
**📦 Crop Control:**
- Any unwanted crops, shrubs or fruit trees can be disabled
**🎨 Appearance Options:**
- Flower textures: switch between the original and modded looks of daffodils and dandelions
- Algae tank texture: choose between original, modern or medieval style
**🌿 Category configuration:**
- Daffodils as flowers
- Dandelions as flowers
- Leeks as a vegetable
- Wild horseradish as a vegetable
- Wild onions as a vegetable
- Snow yam as a vegetable

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
