**Mr. Ginger** is a ginger cat who follows Jas around town and visits other villagers. Some people like him, some don't. Like all good cats, he has many names.

🎭 Unique settings
Mr. Jiang is no ordinary house cat! He will sometimes speak out of the blue - this is because certain dialogue (such as "trash can dialogue") is coded directly into the game and cannot be modified just for a single character without affecting everyone.
Maybe it's just your imagination? Or can cats really talk? Try to befriend him and discover the truth for yourself! 😼

🔗 Related modules
This mod was designed in conjunction with my "Immersive Marnie" (and Jas expansion) mod. Both can be played independently, but making Mr. Jiang an actual character would add more "life" to the game rather than just appearing in a few cutscenes.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
