Mr. Ginger is a ginger cat who follows Jas around town and visits other villagers. Some villagers like him, others don't like him so much. Like all good cats, he has many different names.

Sometimes Mr. Jiang will talk randomly! This is because some dialogue (such as the trashcan digging dialogue) is hard-coded and cannot be modified individually for a character. Maybe you could pretend you're hallucinating? Or can cats really talk? Try making friends with him and see!

Mr. Jiang is no ordinary house cat! This mod complements my "Immersive Marnie (and Jas Expansion)" mod. Both mods can be run independently, but installing Mr. Jiang as a real character greatly enhances the immersion.

- **8 Heart Event**: Head to the forest after dark
- **10 Heart Event**: Go to the town after dark (divided into two parts, the second part is triggered from the east side of the farm on a clear morning the next day)

📥 Installation instructions
- Make sure Content Patcher and SMAPI are installed
- Unzip/drag the entire folder to the Mods folder

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
