More reasonable juice production
🍊 **Why is there no orange juice in a world that includes oranges and juice? **
🥕 **Why does it take 4 days to make vegetable juice? **
🍇 **Why do fruits ferment in kegs but vegetables don’t? **
---
🆕 Brand new machine: juice press
In order to solve these unreasonableness, we introduced **Juice Press**! This new machine, unlocked at **Farming Level 4** (at the same time as the Pickle Jar), is capable of quickly pressing fruits and vegetables into flavored juices.
⚖️ **BALANCE ADJUSTMENT**: To compensate for faster processing times, juice values are now lower than normal. For crops that are generally not worth the time to process in other ways, this is a good option for a quick and modest increase in profits, but is still less profitable than using a pickle jar.
---
🍷 Brewing system innovation
- **Fruit juice** is now needed to **make wine**
- **Wheat juice** is now needed to **make beer**
- **Hop Juice** is now needed to make **Pale Ale**
---
⚙️ Configuration options
The module contains rich configuration settings:
- Switched beer, pale ale and wine recipes to original (keg only) versions
- Enable item quality inheritance function
- Item quality may double the output quantity
---
🛠️ Production recipe
To make a juice press you will need:
- 45 wood
- 45 stones
- 10 hardwoods
- 1 iron ingot
(Recipe similar to cheese press)

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
