- Find the original module that needs to replace the file in the **Requirements** tab
- **Install the original module correctly**
- Unzip all files and folders in the translation package into the module folder
- **Agree to file replacement prompt**
- Enjoy the Polish version of the mod!
🔧 Troubleshooting
If the Polish translation still does not appear after replacing the file:
This may have something to do with the Stardew Valley translation itself, as the translated versions may differ on different devices.
**Solution**:
- Go to the **i18n** folder in the mod folder
- Delete **default.json** file
- Rename **pl.json** to **default.json**
This will replace the English package with the Polish package, ensuring the translations display properly.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
