Mob Count Reports
🎮 **Real-time monster statistics assistant** - Let you know the distribution of monsters in the room at any time!
✨ Core Functions
When you enter a room with monsters (such as most levels of a mine), this mod will automatically tell you the specific number of each type of monster in the room. By default it displays a temporary notification in the lower left corner, but you can also choose to use an in-game chat message or SMAPI console output (all display methods can be toggled).
🎯 How to use
- Just enter the room containing the monster normally
- The module will automatically detect and display monster statistics
- There is a DisplayReportButton option in the configuration that uses a list of key bindings as its value
⚙️ Configuration options
You can view the list of valid keybindings to enter the correct value for this option, or use the universal mod configuration to change the value in real time in game.
🔧 Compatibility
- ✅ Supports Stardew Valley version 1.6.x
- ✅ Support Linux/macOS/Windows system
- ✅Supports single player, multiplayer and split screen modes
🐛 Known issues
- Some monsters in dangerous mines still appear as normal mine versions
- Large slime icons should be colored but appear gray in some environments

💡 **Tips**: This module is especially suitable for players who want to accurately understand the distribution of monsters in each room. It is very practical whether it is for safe exploration or efficient monster farming!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
