Monster Hutch Framework
🎮 **A monster breeding system that makes Stardew Valley more colorful! **
🏰Monster breeding shed
🌟 **New building experience**
- Find the new monster den in Robin's building menu
- Use the appearance of the slime breeding shed before version 1.6 (larger than the current slime breeding shed)
- The interior is regarded as a slime breeding shed, and the slime breeding function is still effective
📊 **Capacity configuration**
- Supports 20 slime capacity limit by default
- Can accommodate up to 40 monsters in total
- Provides 8 sinks to keep monsters hydrated
🏗️ **Extended functions**
- Optional basement extension (enabled in configuration options)
- Monsters in the basement area are inaccessible, but barrels can work normally
🔬 Monster Incubator
⚗️ **Appearance and Function**
- Appearance similar to slime incubator
- Used to hatch monsters added by this framework content pack
🔧 **Get and Make**
- After reaching 6 hearts, you will receive a letter from the wizard to unlock the recipe.
- Crafting requires: 2 Iridium Bars + 50 Void Essence
- Starting incubation requires 10 void essences as "fuel"
👹 Monster system
🎯 **Behavioral Characteristics**
- Created based on a subset of original game monsters
- Behavior copies the base type used
- Will attack players like wild monsters (unless wearing the correct trainer ring)
💧 **Feeding Mechanism**
- Shares the same sink system as slime
- One water tank can "moisturize" up to 5 monsters
- "Nourished" monsters can produce items at night like chicken coop animals
- Auto collector works here
💍 Tamer Ring
🛡️ **Protective Function**
- Rings added by vanilla or mods can be defined as "tamer" rings for these new monsters
- Functions similar to the Slime Tamer Ring
- In addition to preventing players from taking damage, it can also prevent players from causing damage to related monsters
❤️ **Interactive experience**
- You can "touch" monsters when wearing related rings
- Although there are no actual effects, there will be sounds and speech bubbles
⚙️ Configuration options
🛠️ **Rich customization settings**
- **HutchExpansion**: Whether to add a basement extension to the monster hutch
- **RandomizeMonsterPositions**: Whether to randomize monster positions every day
- **HutchSlimeCapacity**: The maximum slime capacity of the monster hut
- **HutchMonsterCapacity**: The total monster capacity of the monster breeding shed
- **DoubleNodeDrops**: Whether to double the number of ores, gems, etc. dropped in the monster breeding shed
- **IncubatorIsAffectedByCoopmaster**: Whether the incubation time is affected by the occupation of livestock expert
🔗 Compatibility
✅ **Perfectly Compatible**
- Compatible with Ring Overhaul Mod
- Compatible with mods that allow more rings to be worn
- Any slime hut mod should work properly
🛠️Modder
📚 **Development Resources**
- Refer to the modding guide to create content packs
- Check out the Monster Breeding Starter Pack for an example
- Note: When modifying the internal map of the monster breeding shed, the built buildings need to be demolished to avoid game crashes

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
