Modular tools
🎮 **Make your Stardew Valley tools look like new! **
✨ Core Functions
- **🔧 Additional upgrades**: Upgrade modules for tools and equipment to add special abilities and attributes
- **🎯 FULLY CUSTOMIZED**: Choose upgrades based on your playstyle - speed, range, strength and more
- **📈 Progressive unlocking**: Unlock new upgrade modules as skill levels increase
- **🔄 Easy Management**: Replace, upgrade or remove upgrade modules at any time
🛠️ How it works
**Basic tools remain unchanged**
Tools now do not automatically improve when Clint upgrades, but instead unlock attachment slots (similar to the bait/hook slots for fishing rods).
**Slot System**:
- Copper Tools: 1 slot
- Steel tools: 2 slots
- Gold tools: 3 slots
- Iridium Tool: 4 slots
**Unlock conditions**:
Upgrade modules are unlocked by increasing the skill level, with the first few unlocked at Farming Level 2 and Mining Level 2.
⚡ Basic upgrade
- **Length/Width**: Increase the range of the hoe/watering can
- **STRENGTH**: Increases the strength of the pick/axe (Level 1=Bronze Strength, Level 2=Steel Strength, Level 3=Gold Strength, Level 4=Iridium Strength)
- **Capacity**: Greatly increases the water storage capacity of the watering can

🐛 Technical Support
If you encounter any bugs or have new upgrade ideas, please let me know!
**DEBUG COMMAND**: `modulartools_attachment_slots_reset` - Tools to fix missing attachment slots
---
💡 **Tip**: Upgrade modules are added/removed in exactly the same way as bait/hook for a fishing rod!
⚠️ **Before removing the module**: Run the debug command `modulartools_remove_all_attachments` to clear the attachment slots and upgrades of all tools to prevent the game from crashing after the module is removed.
🎉 **Happy upgrade! **
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
