🚜 Story background

Your grandfather was a great man, but probably didn't maintain his tractor properly. You'll find parts he left behind all over the farm - under trees, logs, rocks, and more! Local legends about your grandfather and his tractor circulate, so there's no shortage of topics to talk to the residents.

💬 Interact with residents

Always talk to residents, but here are some additional tips:

• **Find a tractor but don’t know what to do? ** Hit it with anything!
• **Many quests require talking to residents and holding specific items**. To avoid accidentally giving away items, it's best to hold on to the quest item during the conversation (i.e. the broken parts of the tractor, rather than the extra items they ask for)
• **If you don't have tractor parts**, approach empty-handed - just like with the Dwarf quest, just have the item in your inventory during the conversation
• **Find the tractor itself** first, then deal with the parts. The tractor is hidden on the farm, but some people in town might give a hint to its location
• **Watch conversations with locals** - they start mentioning tractors about a week into the game. Older residents will speak more than new residents

• **Really motivated players** can get a fully equipped tractor before the first summer if they know what to do
• **More casual players** can look forward to unlocking the tractor and an accessory or two at that time
• **Rewritten TractorMod settings** and removed some unrealistic features - for example, you can no longer sit on the tractor and milk the cows
• **Recommended to install at the beginning of the game or within the first year** for the best experience
• **The gold coins required to unlock the tractor are now the lowest** (only 350 gold coins for all), suitable for players who do not want to earn gold coins
• **But tasks require time and effort** – that’s what’s called balance, isn’t it?
• **Multiplayer**: Guests can ride the tractor, but cannot complete missions
