⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
This isn't a mod - more like a filter that applies to the entire game. However, you need to install the ReShade program first.
📥 Installation Guide
- **Download ReShade**
- Download from this link:
- **Install ReShade**
- Double click on the downloaded file > Select Stardew Valley > Select OpenGL and install it completely
- You will see a reshade_shaders folder in the game installation location
- **Download my files**
- Download my file from and unzip it
- **Copy files**
- Open the unzipped folder and you will see a folder named reshade_shaders
- Copy and paste it into the game's installation folder, overwriting if prompted
- You should now see a preset file named MiMi... and a lut.png file inside the Textures folder
- **Enable Preset**
- Start the game normally
- When the ReShade installation message appears, continue until it is complete
- Press the Home key on your keyboard and select the MiMi... preset from the top drop-down menu
- Click Reload at the bottom, optionally click Save
- All settings are pre-configured, no action is required the next time you launch the game - the game colors will automatically change to the new look
🌟 **Enjoy a new retro gaming experience! **
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
