✨ Module Features

**Love from Grandpa** is an event mod that allows your farmer to read letters prepared by Grandpa during his lifetime. The letters are tied to your milestones and achievements in the game, and each letter is presented through a series of cutscenes, as if Grandpa is speaking to you personally.

These letters are intended to:

• 🎯 Guide you forward
• 💪 Encourage you to grow
• ❤️ Let you know that grandpa always believes in you

This mod hopes to give you some moments of reflection and warm your heart.

⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE

This is a **Milestone-Driven Event Mod**, and cutscenes will be gradually unlocked as the game progresses. For the best immersive experience, it is recommended to use it in new archives, but mid- and late-stage archives are also supported.

🎮 How to trigger events

• 🏛️ Looking forward to the visit of Mayor Lewis, who has been keeping grandpa’s handwritten letter
• 🏠 After reaching certain game milestones, returning to the farmhouse after **7pm (non-holiday days)** will trigger an event prompt
• 📖 You can choose to "read" the message now, or read it later
• 📚 After watching the cutscene, the letter will be saved in the Favorites (letters) tab and can be re-read at any time

**Currently included achievement events:**

• Complete the community center
• Create a complete family (married with 2 children)
• Get the millionaire achievement
• Diversified planting
• Reach level 120 of the normal mine

🎯 Precautions for players in the mid and late stages

If you're worried about the mod triggering events continuously due to multiple achievements in the current save, don't worry, the event code has been designed to trigger at different night intervals. If an overlap occurs, you can choose to save the letter for another reading.

🆕 Instructions for new archive users

The first event will not trigger until **at least 14 game days** (or until the 14th of spring of the first year).

📥 Installation Guide

• Download the ZIP file
• Extract the contents to the Mods folder
• Manual installation is recommended
• Make sure all required files are installed

**Note:** FGWL requires Content Patcher 2.7.0 or higher.

❓ FAQ

**🤝 Is it compatible with SVE, RSV or other expansion modules? **

• **Yes**, fully compatible. The event will only trigger in farmhouses and farms (after 7pm, on non-holiday days). The only compatibility issue might be installing a mod that drastically changes Grandpa's backstory.

**⏰ "I have reached the XYZ milestone, why is there no event prompt when I return to the farmhouse at night?"**

• If you have "read" certain letters, the mod will trigger other cutscenes at different night intervals. They will eventually trigger as long as the conditions are met.

**📱 Is this mod available on mobile? **

• Might work, but not tested.

🔮 Future Plans

While I'm happy with the current achievements set up for storytelling, cutscenes may be added in the future for a perfect ending.
