Loot Filter Item Pickup Filter

🎯 **Mod Function**

Core Features

  • ✨ **Smart Item Filtering**: Apply your loot filter list and filtered items will not be automatically picked up in the inventory
  • 🎮 **Convenient operation**: Filtered items will be placed at a certain distance around the character to prevent them from being dragged back to the inventory

How to use

  • 🖱️ **Quick Add/Remove**: Left-click an item in the menu and press the X hotkey to add or remove the filter list without restarting the game
  • ⌨️ **Hotkey Control**: Use hotkeys to turn loot filters on or off in-game
  • 📏 **Distance Adjustment**: Control the distance at which items are placed

Compatibility information

  • 💻 **Platform Support**: Works perfectly on PC, not tested on Steam Deck (Linux)
  • 🍎 **Mac system**: Some users reported that it works normally
  • 📱 **Mobile**: Using "Add items to loot filter" may cause the game to crash (due to the lack of item holding functionality on mobile devices)

Dependency requirements

  • 🔧 **Required Component**: SMAPI

---

🌟 **Usage Suggestions**

It is recommended to set up the loot filter at the beginning of the game. This can greatly improve the game experience and prevent your backpack from being filled with useless items, allowing you to focus on collecting the resources you really need!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
