Log Menu
📖 **Log Menu** is a Stardew Valley mod that adds a log menu to display previously viewed game dialogue. This mod is inspired by the log/history functionality implemented in visual novel games and some RPGs.
If you accidentally skipped a line of dialogue, or just want to watch it again, this mod is for you!
🛠️ Installation method
- Install the latest version of SMAPI
- Download this mod and extract it to the `Stardew Valley/Mods` folder
- Run the game using SMAPI
🎮 How to use
Press the `L` key to display the log menu. The last 50 conversation records will be displayed. The key bindings of the log menu, the number of displayed lines, etc. can be configured: please see the README for more information.
🔧 Compatibility
- Supports Stardew Valley version 1.6, compatible with Linux/macOS/Windows systems
-Supports single player, multiplayer and split screen modes
- Compatible with other mods, including UI modifications, custom NPCs and custom dialogues
🌍 Language support
Currently the following language translations are supported:
- French (added by Caranud) - added in v1.2.2

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
