Properly integrating the Legendary Lure into the game.
legendarybait 🎣
✨ Module function
Have you ever tried to put a legendary fish into a bait maker, only to find that you only get some generic bait? Now with this mod, you can finally actually use these special baits!
⚖️ Balanced design
Although previous mods have implemented similar functions, they often lead to an unbalanced situation where the legendary fish refreshes infinitely. **Legendary Bait Mod** adopts a more balanced design concept:
- 🐟 The legendary fish will only appear when using the exclusive bait corresponding to the legendary fish
- 🔧 The Bait Making Machine is unlocked at Fishing Level 6 (one will also be provided as a reward in the Community Center)
🛒 How to get it
If you've used up all your bait, or accidentally used/lost a legendary fish, don't worry!
- 🏪 Willy's shop will sell these special baits
- 🎯 However, in order to maintain the balance of the game, the purchase of the corresponding legendary fish will only be unlocked after the corresponding legendary fish has been caught and the fishing level reaches level 10.
⚠️ Important reminder
**This is currently a beta version** and may affect the fish spawn table when used with mods that add new fish (such as the Stardew Valley expansion). Please report any bugs you find so they can be fixed promptly!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
