Lacey is a new take on the Ash Forest Hat Rat! Like you, she is new to the valley and has recently purchased and renovated an abandoned cabin. She is passionate about opening her own hat making and selling business!

Lacey is cheerful and polite, but somewhat introverted and often spends time alone. She is passionate about hats and has unique insights into all types of hats. She loves food and idolizes Gus. Fall was her favorite season and loved spending time outdoors. Still, being the only four-legged mouse that can talk does get a little lonely at times.

• **Complete NPC experience**: Unlike the original map wizard, Lacey is a complete NPC that can be friends with and has rich dialogue content.
• **UNIQUE COMMENTS**: Each original hat and some mod hats have a unique comment
• **Complete Heart Events**: Contains complete heart event system
• **Marriable Characters**: Lacey can be your spouse! Almost no one will comment on this unless you make it weird

🎮 Usage suggestions

If this is your first time playing with Lacey, it is recommended to open a new save for the best experience, as she has some first-year exclusive dialogue.

To avoid spoilers, it is recommended not to look at the mod files as they may contain surprises! Of course, if you like spoilers, please feel free to do so~

🛠️ Installation instructions

• Download the release version and extract it to the Mods folder
• Contains two module folders:
• HatMouseLacey: Content Patcher content package, handles all content resources
• HatMouseLacey_Core: C# module to implement Lacey’s special function code
