🎯 Module Features
As the game progresses, you gain more energy and use less energy. Later on, you won't even need to use an energy drink to restore energy - you'll have extra energy, but isn't that too easy? Let's change this setting a little bit.
✨ **It is highly recommended to install the "Universal Mod Configuration Menu"** so you can customize this mod to your liking and read detailed instructions for each section. You can find all settings under Mod: "(JP98) Remake Tool System".

🔧 Detailed function explanation
Tool system remake
- **Axes and Pickaxes** now deal the same damage regardless of upgrade level
- This means that an Iridium ax will take 10 times to chop down a tree, the same as an unupgraded ax
- The same rules apply for pickaxes
Energy consumption optimization
- Upgrading pickaxes and axes now **reduces energy cost**
- Each level: Basic Tools, Bronze, Iron, Gold, Iridium (2, 1.75, 1.5, 1.25, 1)
- Each level also **increases usage speed** - this is a **new mechanic** of the mod
Improvements to skill system
- Proficiency system now increases tool speed when upgrading skills (foraging, mining)
- For speed bonuses, **raising skill levels** is more important than **maximizing tool upgrades**
- Skill level accounts for 70% of final speed, while tool improvements only account for 30%
Special tool optimization
- **Special charging for hoe and watering can** (hold action button) speed increases with skill level
- Especially in the Iridium upgrade, there are three modes before reaching the last mode
Weapon system adjustment
- **Weapons and Sickles** have also been modified in terms of energy consumption:
- The sword consumes 1 energy
- Dagger costs 0.5 energy (2 energy per special attack)
- Mace costs 2 energy (3 energy per special attack and combo)
- Each use of the sickle consumes 2 energy, 1.5 for gold, 1 for iridium.

🎮 Design Concept
🌱 **The ultimate goal of this mod** is to add a touch of realism to the energy system and make better use of the system, since in normal gameplay the energy system becomes unnecessary as you progress.
🎪 The video below shows just an example configuration; it’s not that exaggerated by default.

- "Rechargeable Resource Tool"
- "Prism Tool Sequel"
- "Original enhanced profession"
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
