The original Escape from Joja mod is a few years old but still working. This remastered version aims to simplify the module and remove the dependence on JsonAssets and Mail Framework Mod. It is also a small exercise for me to make mods.
📖Backstory
You leave your old life and Joja's job behind to start over in Stardew Valley. In order to thank you for your service in the company, Joja Company has sent you a severance package! Unfortunately, their compensation is only micro-shares worth 0.001% of the company's shareholder value, but some people are willing to pay big bucks just to say they are shareholders. Luckily, your shipping box seems to have a good place to dispose of these stock certificates...

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
