Jayes’ NPC relationship adjustment Chinese translation version
🎮 **A dialogue optimization mod focused on improving NPC relationships in Stardew Valley**
✨ Main modifications
**Removed pairings:**
- ❌ Harvey × Maru
- ❌ Abigail × Sebastian
- ❌ Leah × Elliot
- ❌ Penny × Sam
- ❌ Alex × Haley
- ❌ Shane × Emily
- ❌ Ma Long × Marnie
🔧 Other important adjustments
**Clint is no longer "incel"**
Note: Although self-explanatory, involves conversations with all women, not just Emily. The cutscenes remain the same, but the dialogue changes, making it about trying to be social.
**Caroline is not having an affair**
Note: Minor modifications to dialogue that may have hinted at an affair.
**Vincent did not have a crush on Penny**
Note: Obviously this isn't an equal crush, it's common for kids to say things like this about Vincent, but I know as an adult caring for kids it's awkward to deal with something like this.
📝 Author To-Do List
The author stated that he is still considering whether to remove the Lewis × Marnie pairing.

🌟 **This module makes the NPC relationships in Stardew Valley more real and natural, removes some unreasonable pairing settings in the original version, and makes character interactions more logical! **
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
