Object Color Stack Size Fix
🎮 **A must-have patch specifically to fix the stacking problem in Stardew Valley 1.6.9 version**
---
✨ Function description
This module itself will not produce effects alone, it requires a machine that uses the ObjectColor or CopyColor function to work.
There is a bug in Stardew Valley version 1.6.9: when a machine using the new item color function outputs an item, the stack quantity is always reset to 1 (instead of the quantity set by the machine).
🔧 Technical implementation
This is a small Harmony patch that specifically fixes this problem until an official fix is released.
💡 Usage suggestions
- If you use any machine mods that involve item color functionality
- Encountered an abnormal number of stacks of items produced by the machine
- Want to maintain the integrity of the gaming experience
This fix will ensure your game runs smoother!
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
