Industrial Extend-More Useful Machines
🛠️ Introduction to machine manufacturing
- **The first step in making a machine** is to build a machine that can make a machine
- **After reaching Mining Skill Level 2**, unlock the recipe for the "**Small Assistant**" machine
- After **placing the machine**, right-click to open the graphical interface (GUI) to execute the recipe
- **Almost all item recipes** need to be made in "**Small Assistant**", and all recipes are unlocked by default
There are two types of items that can be crafted in **Small Assistant**:
- **Components**: Used as materials for other recipes, including two types of components, base machine casing, raw star metal, and two base game books
- **Machines**: Items that can be placed in the world, including the six new machines added by the module and the coffee machine in the base game
💡 **Tips**:
- Recipes that require "**Component (any)**" can use any component
- **Raw Star Metal** needs to be processed into **Star Metal Alloy** in the **Electric Furnace**
Basically, you can think of the **Small Assistant** as a Minecraft-style workbench!

⚡ Welcome to the age of electricity!
In addition to the base game's two main ways of obtaining energy packs (batteries), this mod introduces new machines:
**Burning Generator** 🔥
- **Coal**: Generates 1-3 energy packs per use
- **Fire Crystal**: Generates 3 energy packs per use
- **Crush plant residue**: Generate 1-3 energy packs, and additionally produce high-grade fertilizer, moisturizing soil or growth promoter
⚠️ NOTE: This mod does not include radioisotope-based thermoelectric generators
---
⛏️ (Maybe) Better Mineral Processing!
This mod introduces two new mineral processing machines:
- **Crusher**: crush ore into powder
- **Electric Furnace**: Smelt the powder into ingots
**Both machines consume 1 energy pack each time** ⚡
- **Crusher** can convert five types of ores into corresponding powders
- **Electric Furnace** Process these powders to get **Double Ingots**!
**Mini Reactor** is an advanced version of **Electric Furnace**:
- ❌ Does not consume energy packs
- 🎲 There is a certain probability of converting all processed powders into radioactive ingots
(Hope it doesn't break...)
---
🔄 Crush everything!
**Grinder** can also process other materials:
- **Wood/hardwood, fiber or moss**: produces crushed plant residue
- **Honey Board**: Produce corresponding honey, and additionally produce wax as a by-product
- **Diamond or Industrial Diamond**: Generates fairy dust
---
🎯 A more convenient crafting alternative!
- **Electric Furnace** can use coal to create industrial diamonds, replacing diamonds in recipes, but cannot be placed in geodes
- Can convert sap, rosin or oak resin into rubber as a substitute for these resins
- **Crusher** produces wax as a by-product that can be used in place of maple syrup in recipes
📥 Installation instructions
Unzip the file, copy and paste the **[CP]Industrial Extend** folder into the *stardew valley/mods* directory, and select Replace if prompted.
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
