i18n Editor Module (iEM)

🎯 **A powerful i18n file management and repair tool**

---

🚀 How to use this mod

1. Install the module

📥 Drag and drop the module file into the Mods folder to complete the installation

2. Make sure the files are placed correctly

📁 Please make sure not to confuse i18n editor output and input files with other folders

💡 Don’t worry about code tracking within subfolders - it tracks UniqueIDs within subfolders!

3. Translation folder settings

🔄 The system will create Translations folders for input and output

📂 Inside this folder, create a new subfolder and name it with the UniqueID of the target mod

4. Find UniqueID

🔍 If you are not sure about the UniqueID, you can find it in the manifest.json file

🎯 This module uses UniqueID to track i18n folders

5. Add language files

🌐 After creating the folder named with UniqueID, place the language JSON file containing the conversation (such as en.json, default.json, zh.json, etc.)

6. How to use

⚡ You can use this mod even without using the translation mod

🔄 It will temporarily fix dialogue to avoid loops and ensure compliance with dialogue mod rules

✅ Row content will also be corrected to follow correct JSON syntax

7. To translation modders

🛠️ This mod is very useful for completely fixing dialogues, but still requires manual checking for missing lines

8. System understanding

📊 The system uses two different coworking folders, including a separate subfolder of the Translations folder

🎯 You can mainly focus on using the i18n editor for output since it contains all the necessary features. i18n editor input is an add-on

9. Add game save

🎮 To ensure that the conversation is valid, please add the game save twice

⏰ Yes, twice and wait for full loading

🏠 Please don’t leave if you haven’t seen the inside of the house

🔄 Rejoin the saved game afterwards to convert the conversations into valid files

💫 Supports both automatic and manual methods!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
