Made Shane's post-6-heart event dialogue and gift preferences consistent with his character development
I fixed him - Shane character consistency
🎮 **A fix mod focusing on character consistency**
✨ Main functions
The main goal of this mod is to **fix inconsistencies in Shane's character development**:
- 📝 **Fix post-6-heart event dialogue** - Make Shane's dialogue consistent with his character development
- 🎁 **Adjust gift preferences** - Make his gift preferences more in line with the character's growth trajectory
- 💍 **Optimize post-marriage conversations** - Remove conversations that casually mention drinking
⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE
**This is not a dialogue expansion mod! ** Its main function is to edit existing dialogue so that it changes based on Shane's 6-heart event conditions.
If you want more dialogue content, I recommend using the **Immersive Shane** mod, as it has now been updated to version 1.6 and covers many similar features.
🎯 Design Concept
This mod was made during the temporary hiatus of **Immersive Shane** and is designed for players who **prefer a near-vanilla experience**.
💡 **Core Concept**:
- Acknowledge the complexity of the recovery process
- Understand that relapse is possible
- No attempt to sugarcoat Shane's behavior or character
- Fixed logic inconsistencies in character development
🔧 Technical implementation
With **Content Patcher's Conditional Magic**, we were able to fix the limitation in the base game of not being able to change gift preferences and event dialogue based on conditions.

🌟 **Make Shane's character development more realistic and consistent! **
Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
