Harvesting crops has a configurable chance of dropping seeds

Harvest Seeds - Continued 🌱

Overview ✨

This mod brings a new way to obtain seeds to Stardew Valley! When you harvest a crop, there is now a chance that the crop's seeds will be dropped. This means you can get more seeds by planting and harvesting, and spend less on buying seeds!

Main functions 🌟

  • **Seed drop probability**: Configurable seed drop probability (0-100%)
  • **Renewable crop support**: You can choose whether to have regenerable crops such as strawberries also drop seeds.
  • **Seed Quantity Control**: Set the minimum and maximum number of seeds dropped per harvest
  • **Guarantee Mechanism**: Set the number of seeds that must be dropped for each harvest

Configuration options ⚙️

You can do in-game configuration through configuration files or using the Generic Mod Config Menu module:

  • **RegrowableSeeds**: Enable/disable seeds dropped by regenerable plants
  • **SeedChance**: Seed drop probability (percentage)
  • **MinSeeds**: Minimum number of seeds dropped each time
  • **MaxSeeds**: Maximum number of seeds dropped per time
  • **GuaranteedSeeds**: The number of seeds that must be dropped each time you harvest

Compatibility Information 🔧

  • Supports Stardew Valley 1.6.15 or higher
  • Compatible with Generic Mod Config Menu module

---

💡 **Usage Suggestions**: It is recommended to set the seed drop probability between 10-20%, so as to maintain the balance of the game and enjoy the convenience brought by the module!

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)

  1. Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
  2. Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
  3. Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
  4. Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.

Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
