✨ Core Functions
Let you arrange the layout of the items in the box as you like! When you take an item out, it leaves a space; when you put an item in, it automatically goes into the first empty slot/stack of the same type. If you don't move the item, it will stay in place. Items of the same type are placed as close together as possible in the box!
⚠️ **But please note:** If you push the box, all items will be pushed together.
🎯 Operation Guide
- Use movement keys (like WASD) to freely move recently added items in the chest and place them exactly where you want them!
- Hold down the left Ctrl key when storing items to prevent stacking and merging, allowing you to keep different groups of the same item
🏠 Farmhouse Fridge Support
The refrigerator in the farmhouse now works properly! If you encounter any weird issues (like some kind of bug!), turn off the "MaintainFridge" configuration option; this way the mod will keep your fridge cluttered when you run out of a certain ingredient stack, but may fix the problem (still have to report the issue here so I can fix it).
🔮 Future Plans
A drag-and-drop system similar to Minecraft or the player's inventory might be possible, but I'm still working out how. If this interests you, drop me a line and give me some encouragement!

✅ **Compatible with:**
- Stardew Valley 1.5.6 or higher
- Linux, macOS and Windows systems
- Single and multiplayer games (even if other players don't have this mod installed)
- Most mods
⚠️ **Known conflicts:**
- Mods that assume there are no empty slots in the box (such as Automate) may have issues
- **Overworld Chests Mod:** If you take the first item from an Overworld Chest, the chest will be destroyed prematurely. Finally remove the item and it will work normally
- **Better Chests Mod:** Most features work, but the following features conflict:
- **Item Filter:** This feature is not working
- **Save to Box/Auto Organize/Transfer Items/Unload Box:** will disrupt any arrangement made by this mod

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
