Green chicken coops and barns
🌿 **Let your animals live in a more natural outdoor environment! **
Have you ever wished your animals could live somewhere closer to nature instead of in one of those (not so pretty) wooden buildings that Robin built? But want them somewhere safe and comfortable year-round? That's exactly why I made this mod!
---
✨ Main functions
- **Permanent Spring Map** 🌸 - Let your animals enjoy the outdoor atmosphere without getting cold in winter
- **Same size as the original version** 🏡 - The map size is exactly the same as the original version, but the NPC blocking area is added
- **Smart Animal Management** 🐮 - Use NPC blockers to prevent animals from approaching the machine, you can freely place equipment or decorations
- **Recolor Compatible** 🎨 - Select the internal recolor you are using in the configuration menu, or keep it as 'Original'
- **Built-in small pond** 💧 - Each map has a small pond that expands with upgrades, which is both beautiful and practical
- **Diggable Grass** 🌱 - Each piece of turf can be dug and the interior space can be used as a greenhouse
---
⚙️ Configuration options
**Map recoloring:**
- Original, VPR, Earthy, Elegant, Rustic
- Defaults to 'Original', which will override other recolor effects
**Compatibility options:**
- Advanced buildings for SVE: on/off
- Jen's Mega Building: On/Off
- Giant chicken coop for resource chickens: on/off
**NOTE:** 'Map recolor' only affects indoor room boundaries and feed troughs, other parts use base game tiles
---
🔗 Compatibility information
✅ **Fully Compatible:**
- All world recolor mod
- Listed internal recolor mods
- 'Overcrowded' talent by Vanilla Plus Professions
- Jen’s giant chicken coop and barn
- Giant chicken coop for resource chickens
- Advanced buildings for SVE
❌ **Not Compatible:**
- 'Original' and 'Yield Master' professions from Walk of Life
- A module that modifies the original chicken coop/stable map
⚠️ **Not tested:**
- Animals Need Water (internal pond may not work)
- Other mods that add new chicken coops/stalls
---
📥 Installation and Uninstallation
The maps are exactly the same size as the vanilla maps, so you can install or uninstall this mod at any time without losing anything. Just note two points:
- If installing during the archive, make sure there are no machines or boxes in the pond location
- The position of the feed trough in the chicken house and large chicken house is different from the original version, and the hay may be displaced.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
