Installation steps
- First install SMAPI and Content Patcher
- Download this mod and unzip it into your `Mods` folder
Configuration options
The `DefaultGrassWeight` configuration item can adjust the frequency of occurrence of the original grass texture (`TerrainFeatures/grass`). The default value is 0. You can use this setting to coordinate compatibility between content packs that use this mod and content packs that directly remake grass textures.
Currently, you can configure it through the console command `gv-default_grass_weight [weight]` or directly edit the `config.json` file. GMCM interface configuration is not supported yet.
⚠️ Compatibility Notes
This mod is not compatible with the More Grass mod, as the latter modifies the painting process directly and completely overrides the effects of this mod. Due to overlapping functionality and conflicting design choices, there are currently no plans to introduce compatibility support.

Install & use Install: SMAPI mod (Stardew Valley standard)
- Install SMAPI first (Stardew Valley's mod loader): download it from smapi.io, run 'install on Windows.bat' and pick your game folder.
- Unzip the archive from playbuff and find the folder that contains manifest.json — that folder is the mod.
- Copy that whole folder into Stardew Valley/Mods/.
- Launch the game through SMAPI (run StardewModdingAPI.exe or set it as the launch option). The console before the title screen lists each mod's load result.
Cheat-style tools may not need SMAPI — unzip and run them as the readme describes. Back up your save before editing it; SMAPI lists failed mods in its console.
